Safety Measures
Good maintenance
No broom / reed / wooden material in production area
No glass inside production
No jewelry or personal belonging inside production
Wearing hair cover
Check and maintain machinery / equipment regularly
Using of locked nuts at vibrating machines (such as sieves)
No smoking
All chemicals must be kept in storage and locked
No chemicals inside the production areas (during processing)
WORKER SAFETY
- The Factory workers are trained under a very experienced team with years of experience working in the cashew industry (from India, Vietnam).
- All workers are provided health and accidental Insurance.
- An Ambulance is present in premises at all times in case of an emergency.
- All work areas are temperature controlled and air filtered for a clean work environment.
- All employees are provided with the right equipment. Risk assessment is carried out regularly at workplace equipment and the right PPE is provided at all times.
- There is clear Signage present in all parts of the facility including Labeling, Signs and making workers aware of their surrounding equipment.
- Fire safety training and response is done frequently.
